In owners' own words
When driving at night, I can't see unless I use my high beams, on low beams I cannot see the roadway. I have contacted the dealership and they say they are aware of the problem, but there is no recall. So I would have to pay for this issue repair and hope that general motors would have to reimburse me for the repair, I can't imagine a more important safety issue than not being able to see at night on the highway. Exterior lighting · reported at 85,000 miles
Vehicle driving headlights provide extremely low level of road illumination which is extremely dangerous such that it is necessary to switch to high beam in order to illuminate the road sufficiently to drive safely! Cadillac dealership states that the lighting level is acceptable. As you know, driving with high beams can be dangerous as well when on local roads and neighborhoods in order to see the road safely. Exterior lighting
Low beam headlights do not work. For several months, I have been forced to use high beams when driving at night. The lack of low beam headlights is extremely dangerous to me, my passengers and other drivers. Dealership has no answers and agrees that this defect is a major hazard. Service advisor agreed that a recall should be made to repair the low beams and does not understand why a recall has not been made. Exterior lighting · reported at 25,000 miles
