Low beam headlights are not effective for safe navigation at night. I noticed this several months ago and checked for any recall notices. I found that florida and one other state have recognized this defect and issued a recall for repairs to be paid by gm. I have had several close calls while driving at night because the headlights are unsafe! Please consult with gm and issue a recall on Cadillac SRX headlights. The contact owns a 2012 Cadillac SRX. While the vehicle was stationary and while driving various speeds at night, the headlights malfunctioned. Suttle Cadillac (12525 jefferson avenue, newport news, virginia 23602) was made aware of the failure and replaced the low beam headlights twice, but the failure recurred. Low beam headlamps have dimmed to the point of having to use the high beams all the time. Understand there has been a problem with this year's headlamp assembly with water entering inside and dimming the lamps. Have contacted gm/Cadillac as there was a service bulletin issued. We were never informed of prior litigation and feel that this is a safety problem and should be addressed by gm/Cadillac. Thank you Exterior lighting · reported at 76,000 miles
