In owners' own words
Transmission would not engage right away on cold mornings. Took the car to a dealership and was advised that the car needed a new transmission. Contacted Dodge consumer affairs to complain about the infant failure of the transmission but they did not care and would not work with me. As a result of this I will no longer buy chrysler products and will advise anyone I know looking for a new car to avoid chrysler. Power train
I have read of many 4 speed cc transmission failures and that fact has also been confirmed with my dealership. My unit is no longer under factory warranty. My unit has meticulously been maintained in hopes of avoiding problems..To no avail. There is a real problem with these 4spd transmission units. They should be recalled! As well as the trans cooling lines and seals leaking! $1370.00 Out the window! Power train
