In owners' own words

The consumer's car caught on fire shortly after the consumer got out of the vehicle. The fire department and police were called to extinguish the fire. They couldn't figure out the cause of the fire. Consumer believes that it was associated with the problems described in the manufacturer's recall 787. In addition, after further investigation, consumer found out that vehicle had a faulty power steering unit. Fuel system, gasoline
Recall 98v-184.000/Car would make frequent stops/go. Car died. Saw underhood where black steel line had fallen out of front, and fuel was spraying out in front and in direction of radiator. Dealer contacted, stated vehicle did not comply with recall. Parts might be available for 3.5L in 2-4 weeks. Problem still exists. Owner to repair at own expense. Provide further information. The fuel rail system which feeds fuel to the fuel injectors began to leak causing an engine fire hazard. I have been told that this is due to one or more faulty o-rings. The cost to replace the fuel rail and o-rings is in excess of $500. Many others owning this same vehicle are reporting this hazard.
