While driving, my Nissan Titan began to accelerate out of control. I applied the brakes but the motor was too strong. I put the transmission into neutral and the motor redlined and I immediately turned the motor off. The local Nissan dealership says their computer does not find anything wrong. Recently the low range shift has stopped working. I use the lower range to hold back the trailer that I tow and I am unable to use it so I have to use my brakes when going downhill. I purchased this vehicle used in august 2009 with 16,000 miles on it. I have only put 30,000 miles on it and expect it to perform longer. Power train · reported at 43,000 miles
Lower transmission hose to radiator cracks and releases transmission fluid due to vibrations and being inadequately supported, causing sudden loss of transmission. 1St time it happened while driving on highway with 45000-50000 miles and required transmission replacement, second time at 90000 miles.
