The brakes are not working correctly. The vehicle was taken to a repair shop. The mechanic thought the vehicle was on recall and referred the consumer to the dealer. The dealer stated the vehicle was not on recall for the brakes. The vehicle has not been diagnosed, but the consumer stated the brakes were not safe. The abc brake appear to be working fine now. Consumer has received recall 96-v-099-000/ manufacturer's recall 685 for anti skid system. Took vehicle to dealer for recall repairs. But, same part has failed 7 times, starting from january 22nd to present. Once part failed, there was no power assist, which made it almost impossible to stop vehicle.
