In owners' own words
Consumer has had to have continuous service on the vehicles brake pump which at times renders her unable to use the brakes, recieved recall and had entire brake system replaced, consumer also states abs light and brake light are on, and pedal is hard, this was all due to brake pump not holding pressure, also brake fluid was leaking out of top when pump kicked in, dealer reccomended a complet hydraulic assembly. Re:transmission - I realize it is not safety related but thought you would like to know. Re:abs warning light - dealer will do nothing unless a "hard code" is shown. The light stays on for days but as with an aching tooth, the pain sometimes disappears when visiting the dentist. Always on when I take it in but leaving the van a day or two at the dealer sometimes causes the light to go out for a short time. Service brakes, hydraulic
Consumer called complaining about having problems with the brakes. Also stated that while driving the vehicle he lost total control of the brakes. Dealer was contacted and stated that the abs system had problems but also stated that the abs system was cover for life time. Dealer also told that there was money that he needed to pay for some parts that have to do with abs system but not cover for the recall. Ts Service brakes, hydraulic
