In owners' own words

I want ro know why the crank sensor isnt a recall. Mine went out this morning and luckily I was in my neighborhood and not on the hwy. It's dangerous and my car just cut off on me. I read this morning and there is quite of few people that had the same issue. There could be parents out there with a car full of kids and it could be extremely hot or cold outside. There should be a recall on this item for safety. Engine · reported at 64,000 miles
Two months ago my Jeep started bucking violently when driving after it sat for a month being driven maybe once a week. I refilled the tank with premium and it still didn't help. Took it to the shop and they couldn't find a problem. It stopped doing that for for about two weeks but now it stared doing it again. It does it when I'm am accelerating from a slow down and also once I get up to 60 on the highway Engine · reported at 79,000 miles
Driving along at speeds of 35 mph, the engine randomly shut off, locked the steering wheel, and came to a stop. This occurred on a residential street. The next day, the same issue occurred on a state route 28. A manual restart of the vehicle was required each time, and the issue occurs daily. This happened several times at various locations, speeds, times of day, etc. This is a life threatening issue. Engine · reported at 57,434 miles
