In owners' own words
I was in an accident on march 12 2018 a tractor trailer sidewiped the ls of my car and destroyed the entire side . The car might be totaled. No airbags went off at all! He came into my lane at a good speed and a full load. I am lucky to be alive. I have had other problems with this car only to be ignored by the dealer. I paid cash for the car at the end of 2015 and now I have nothing. Besides being hurt. Air bags · reported at 54,000 miles
Airbag light on. Dealer pulled codes B7614 and B1490. OCS fault in mat. Recommended replacing OCS mat in passenger seat. Airbag light turns on when weight in passenger seat vacant, or does not reach weight threshold. Light usually turns off when passenger is in seat. However, vehicle could not pass state inspection with this occupant detection system malfunction. Air bags
Airbag light turns on/off. Had dealership investigate and found that it is related to the occupancy sensor mat in the passenger seat. Code was reset (no work performed) and remained off 7 months and now is back on. Could be related to weather (comes on more frequently during fall & winter). Dealer states it is a B1767 code and will need OCS mat replaced. Air bags
