In owners' own words
Side detection system is not working properly. Is also causing car to turn off at lights and one time even started to smoke. S old it was covered under warranty but when I took it to the dealership they said it wasn't. Once I was able to confirm that it was under warranty it wasn't anymore because I had exceeded the miles. This is a safety hazard and is common among people who own this year and brand! Electrical system
My 2015 chevy Impala service side detection system warning alerted and all of a sudden the entire electrical system shut down and came back on while driving the vehicle on the highway.. Took the vehicle to the dealership was told to contact gm and was told that due to mileage there was nothing that could done. Upon research found out that my vehicle is not the only one that experience this issue. Electrical system · reported at 110,000 miles
Blind spot warning system module sensor 23424941 issue I just had my rear bumper replaced by the auto body shop. When they went to pull both modules out and place them into the new bumper, both of them would not fit due to a corner of the modules expanding from corrosion from inside the module. There are many complaints about these. I should not have to pay for the replacements from gm. Electrical system · reported at 89,000 miles
