Electric power steering keeps going out randomly. Dangerous!!! I notice that there is a recall on this issue up to 2013 Ford Flex models. Mine is a 2014. Needs to be recalled before someone is hurt! Happens mostly at startup but has happened when moving as well! This is very unsafe and Ford will not take any ownership. Steering · reported at 145,000 miles
Power steering quit, couldn't turn wheel. Alert popped up that said "steering assist fault service required" then another alert popped up "service advance trac" same issue as the earlier years of the Flex that had a recall on them so the recall needs to be extended as the problem is not fixed in the newer years. The steering arm broke off of my right front tire while I was driving in a parking lot. The car snapped forward and the tire was lodged in the frame. I could not move my car. My car has 59,000 miles.
