The contact owns a 2013 GMC Terrain. The contact stated while driving 65 mph, the front collision alert sensor illuminated and the vehicle decreased in speed. The manufacturer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic who stated that the vehicle was working properly. The failure recurred on several occasions. The failure mileage was 500 and the current mileage was 8,033. The contact owns a 2013 GMC Terrain. While driving, the engine power reduced indicator illuminated and the speed drastically reduced. Taylor chevrolet (734-287-2600, located at 13801 s telegraph rd, taylor, mi 48180) inspected the vehicle and stated that further diagnostic testing was required. The vehicle was not repaired. 2.4 Ecotec engine burning oil. Had oil change done within less a month, have 2,000 mile to go before next oil change and vehicle was saying 51% oil life left. The vehicle start knocking, took it to mechanic to have look at and it was 3quarts down and I just had an oil change done 5weeks ago from this date 09/09/19.
