Takata recall. The contact owns a 2011 GMC Yukon. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v381000 (air bags). Beck and masten buick GMC north (11300 dm 1960 w, houston, tx 77065, 281-469-5222) was contacted and confirmed that parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was not notified. Crack in dashboard running from drivers side all the way over to the passenger air bag. I feel like this would be a danger if the passenger air bag were to deploy. I also feel that this is a factory defect. I would appreciate very much if you could help with this problem. Dash severely cracking. Has not been involved in any accidents it just started on it's own and is gradually getting worse. I notice it more and more every time I get in my truck. I noticed it probably sometime last year. There is also a facebook group with so many other people this is happening too. I think GMC is using cheap defective materials!
