Reading the numbers
Across the 22 model years of the GMC Yukon in this data, 2009 draws comparatively few complaints; 2015 is the outlier year.
Filings have fallen off, 11 in the last three years against 23 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.
The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 80,000 miles.

The dashboard which is made of hard plastic is cracking near and touching the passenger air bag. It will cause shards of thick hard plastic to be projected into the passenger compartment if the airbag deploys. Also large pieces will also be interjected into the passenger compartment in the case of any accident because they are loose. Air bags
Dashboard is cracked in upper left corner of the passenger side airbag. The cracked part is very sharp and will likely year the airbag if it deploys durning a crash, which is a huge safety concern. Also, it seems very brittle and the force of the airbag deployment could send flying shrapnel into passengers faces. Air bags · reported at 47,000 miles
