In owners' own words

After owning my 2006 Nissan Murano for just over two years the lower seat brace has broken and the seat leans and lifts in a left hand turn. I have researched this problem online and have found many complaints for the exact same problem. This I feel is a safety issue that the company is unwilling to fix at no cost. I hope the numbers of complaints will trigger some response. Thank you for your consideration. Seats · reported at 67,560 miles
I own a 2006 Nissan Murano and while driving I heard a "snap" sound and the left year of the driver's seat sank which caused me to jerk the steering wheel into the oncoming lane of traffic. Fortunately there was no oncoming traffic. I took the car to my service station and upon inspection they revealed the seat frame in the back left cracked so now the seat rocks side to side. The seat is no longer stable. Seats · reported at 72,000 miles
Broken frame assembly in driver's seat for 2006 Nissan Murano. Normal wear & tear, no specific event caused this damage. The seat rocks and is a safety hazard. According to the dealership the seat bracket and lift motor assembly need to be replaced. The dealership estimates the repair cost for parts and labor to be $680. This is not a wearable part that is ever supposed to break, and was poorly designed. Seats
