The contact owns a 2002 GMC Yukon XL. When the brake pedal was depressed, the contact experienced unwanted antilock brake activation. As a result, the vehicle lunges forward before coming to a complete stop. The dealer replaced the antilock speed sensor and the front hub assembly at the cost of $600. : The contact stated the abs pump stays on after shutting the vehicle off. There is a nhtsa recall, # 05v379000, regarding the abs. The vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall; however it is not included in the recall due to the vin. The vehicle was taken to the dealership.
