Sept. '02, Brakes replaced. Jan. '03, Rack/pinion replaced. Feb. '03, Heater did not work on front passenger side, nor rear driver side. Oct. '03, Speedometer/power failed to operate. Stayed in low gear. Dealer says it's the sensor. Part for heater ordered from detroit, takes days to repair due to taking out entire dash. Chrysler "apologized" when I emailed, but offered nothing to offset cost of repairs. Power train · reported at 58,700 miles
(1) I own a 2000 Chrysler town & country (with less than 70,000 miles) which I purchased only five months ago. While on vacation far from home, the transmission started whining loudly and shifting roughly. (2) I had the vehicle checked by two different mechanics who both informed me that the transmission was failing. (3) The transmission had to be replaced completely at a cost to me of approximately $2800. Power train · reported at 68,000 miles
