: The contact stated the engine light illuminated intermittently and while parked in the drive way, the engine failed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined the battery acid leaked onto the wiring causing the engine to fail. The wiring was placed below the battery due to improper installation by a manufacturer defect. The contact notified the manufacturer. The vehicle had not been repaired. The check engine light started flashing, which means a misfire in the engine is occurring when the temperature is above 80 degrees. It was found to be a faulty driver for the coil pack firing on cylinder 3 & 6 in the ecm computer. No signal was coming out of the computer for the coil pack driver module on cylinders 3 & 6 which share the same coil pack. Replaced the $850 computer and all is fine.
