The contact owns a 1999 Dodge RAM 1500. The contact stated the entire dashboard was cracking and separating. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on numerous occasions in which they were unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The cracks became progressively worse. The manufacturer was notified but offered no assistance. The failure and current mileage was unknown. Structure
Dashboard cracked and continues to get worse; afraid it may fall in and ruin some of the wiring or trip the airbag to come out. The cracking started shortly after the warranty ran out and the dealer said they would not nor would Dodge cover the repair or replacement. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that the entire dashboard needed to be replaced. The contact noticed prior that there were small cracks forming on the dashboard.
