My engine has been burning oil and I have to ad at least a ouart of oil or more each month 2.7L engine all I have heard about these engines is bad they all blow up and also the cooling system were the bleeder is blew off and the guy at the auto junk yard says all the engines the get in have this replaced or already blowen off and their is a waiting list for these engines do to a large number of them blowing up. Dt: the contact owns a 1998 Chrysler Concorde. The contact states that the engine was making a loud noise, it was like a clanking noise. The vehicle quit while he was on the off ramp. Previously to this there was sludge in the engine. Chryslers claims not to have heard any other complaints on this problem, but consumer has gotten on the internet and seen other complaints for this problem. Engine and engine cooling
: The contact stated while at an intersection, the temperature gauge elevated to the red area, and smoke came out from under the hood. The vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop where it was determined the bleeder valve ab connector had melted.
