In owners' own words
While driving abs brake light came on. Went to apply brakes & had no brakes. Vehicle failed to stop right away. Took to dealer & mechanic replaced abs pump. Later, brakes failed again & took vehicle back. Brakes repaired once more. However, problem has reappeared. Dealership has gone out of business. The am/fm cassette stereo system also malfunctioned. In addition, sliding door never closed appropriately. Service brakes, hydraulic
Dt: the contact owns a 1993 Plymouth Voyager. While applying the brakes the vehicle would not stop and the vehicle would slide into the intersection. She was told by a mechanic that the problem was with the master cylinder. Initially the problem was intermittent, but now it happens all the time. The contact is unable to drive the vehicle because it is unsafe. The vin is unavailable at the moment. Service brakes, hydraulic
The vehicle would not drive when put in gear. The transmission whines but the van will not move. When the van finally goes into gear it will not shift, it sticks in gears. The brake pedal is soft and goes to the floor, but will not stop quickly in an emergency. The original paint is also peeling to bare metal and is rusting, the clear coat is bubbling and the paint is starting to peel on the hood. Service brakes, hydraulic
