In owners' own words

The contact owns a 1992 Plymouth Voyager. While driving 15 mph uphill, the brake pedal extended to the floor when it was depressed. The vehicle finally came to a stop 5 seconds later. The abs and brake warning indicator lights illuminated. The repair shop stated that the master cylinder was leaking fluid. The current and failure mileages were 70,000. Updated 01-14-08. *Kb the abs pump was replaced. Updated Service brakes, hydraulic · reported at 70,000 miles
My 1992 chrysler Voyager has bendix 10 abs brakes and once the brake booster was out. Our local chrysler dealer made certain that the booster pump was burned out. While the pump was already replaced in 2000 they said the warranty covers only 1 pump per vehicle!! As I know recall 96v-99 (chrysler recall #685) refers to a lifetime warranty (for booster electrical pump). Short life, isn't it? Service brakes, hydraulic · reported at 290,785 miles
The second failure occurrence following manufacturer,s recall, and dealer repaired (system accumulator). Driver again experienced illumination of brake and anti-lock lights, and subsequent total failure of the brake system at slow speed. The brakes pedal felt completely normal to touch, however no hydraulic pressure appeared to reach the actual vehicle brakes for stopping. Service brakes, hydraulic
