In owners' own words

I bought my 1993 Ford Taurus lx used. I have now had to have the motor mounts replaced (3 times) and the local Ford/mercury dealer will on warrant the parts for 12 months or 12,000 miles whatever comes first. How or why should the same part keep failing and the consumer have to keep paying the price to replace them. To buy new motor mounts and labor to install them is about $425.00 Each time. Can you help me??? Engine and engine cooling
Rapid engine tempurature fluctuations, loss of coolant, white smoke from exhaust. Problem was head gaskets, especially #3 & #4 head. Is same problem with other 3.8 Engines, but manufacturer will only cover '94 & '95 model years. Licensed mechanic reports problem is consistent with '90 and up 3.8 Taurus engines. Dealer is refusing to assist with repair bill because manufacturer does not list '93 under recall. Engine and engine cooling
