In owners' own words

When I come to a stop, my truck will try to lunge/jump forward after a few seconds. It has been happening for a few weeks now. This could result hitting another car in front of me or potentially a pedestrian if I am stopped at a cross walk. I took it a dealer yesterday and they confirmed the problem. They attempted to reprogram it and said it fixed it. Later that night and again this morning, it did it again. Power train

Check engine light on . Ford says exhaust heat exchanger bypass valve. I see online multiple people are having the same issue . Seems to be a common issue with this vehicle . They are saying it’s not a part of the power train warranty although it’s attached to the power train . This is a safety issue. With the amount of posts about this issue I’m surprised it isn’t a recall already. Power train
