In owners' own words
Excessive oil consumption due to piston ring failure. Clogged catalytic converter due to metal shavings from piston ring failure. This put my safety and the safety of others at risk due to potential engine failure which disables all other safety features of the vehicle. confirmed by a hyundai dealership. inspected by a hyundai certified dealership. No warning lamps but oil consumption has been an ongoing issue. Engine
I own a Hyundai Tucson 2018 model and recently it started making the noise. i got it check with the private auto shop and they said it the engine issue so i took it to dealership as it was under the 100,000 power train warranty. The dealership ask me about the invoice of regular oil change invoice which i provided to them but they simply denied it. the dealership is located on route 1 south Brunswick new jersey. Engine
EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION! Vehicle has less than 60k and I have to check and put oil in about every 1,000 miles. Engine light comes on and this is how I know to check the oil. This is ridiculous and should not be happening. I change my oil as directed at every 5,000 miles and at least 2-3 times before next oil change I am adding more oil. WHY AM I BURNING SO MUCH OIL? No oil is leaking that I can see... Engine
