The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. While driving 15 mph, smoke appeared from the engine. In addition, the vehicle leaked oil onto the ground. The vehicle was diagnosed as needing the engine oil filter cover seal and cap seal replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. Our 2015 Chevrolet Cruze started idling at high rpms, had trouble shifting and the check engine light came on. We took it in and was told couldn't find the problem so they reset the code. It started again after about two weeks so we took it to an independent mechanic shop. They said it was the pcv valve and that they have seen a lot of Cruze' with this problem.
