Reading the numbers

Across the 6 model years of the Volkswagen CC in this data, 2011 draws comparatively few complaints; 2012 is the outlier year.

Filings have fallen off, 14 in the last three years against 83 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 75,000 miles.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2011 Volkswagen CC. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v078000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available. Air bags
Takata air bag recall. I live in florida and it has been reported that states with high humidly and hotter temperatures can cause the air bags to implode. Based on the aforementioned as well as the actual recall I would like to know when this will be rectified. Many of my friends have had their vehicles recall for airbags repaired or at least provided a rental car until a fix is available. Vw has offered me nothing. Air bags
