Reading the numbers

Across the 17 model years of the Chevrolet Traverse in this data, 2011 draws the most complaints of any of them.

Filings have fallen off, 20 in the last three years against 68 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 72,000 miles.

In owners' own words

My wife and children were driving our 2011 Traverse, when the traction control started to turn off and on, check engine light went on, displays started to roll through a number of warnings, and engine power was reduced and the car slowed to roughly 25 mph. This all occurred in the middle of traffic. The concern is that the sporadic lose of engine power dropping a car from 60 mph to 25 mph will cause an accident. Engine · reported at 68,000 miles
It has happened a few times where the stabilitrack goes haywire while driving and locks the vehicle up allowing to only travel a few miles per hour super unsafe when on highway. Have had a chevy dealership replace the throttle body snd less than 10,000 miles later same problem. In researching online seems this is a very common problem on all chevys that is extremely unsafe when it happens and your driving. Engine · reported at 110,000 miles
