The car lurches forward and bucks on full stop and take off. I have contacted a vw dealer and gave me a possible fix for 1800.92 But this may not fix the problem. It may also need a new clutch. This is a known problem that vw is aware of but will not recall and repair. This complaint is to document the problem once again and suggest that vw be made to fix this before someone is killed if they haven't already been. Power train · reported at 109,286 miles
Dsg transmission failure. Had abs module recall done at dealer. Picked up vehicle, drove two blocks, car would not shift out of second gear. Went back to dealer, they scanned it, and it showed 36 prior faults with transmission. Prior to this it has never shown a code/check engine light prior to know. Is now out of warranty - vw says too bad for you. Power train · reported at 1 miles
