Airbag warning light goes on and off while driving. Have checked for loose or bad wiring connection externally - none found. Believe that this condition is due defective airbag clockspring wiring failure. Talked with dealer (of little help) - no recall notice, your problem but we can fix. My 2009 Jeep wrangler 4x4 has a issue regarding the air bag warning light. The light comes on intermittantly and the warning bell will go off. While I am driving. I am concerned that my air bag will not deploy when or if it is needed. I know this is a problem with theses jeeps and wonder why no recall? I am told it could be a clockspring problem. While in motion and stationary the air bag warning light and chime come on randomly, sometimes seconds apart over times minutes, online research indicates that the air bag system maybe defective and this issue is a recall matter on right drive jeeps mine however is a left drive.
