Reading the numbers
Across the 16 model years of the Ford Edge in this data, 2009 draws comparatively few complaints; 2013 is the outlier year.
Filings have fallen off, 19 in the last three years against 35 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.
The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 88,136 miles.

Takata recall I received the safety recall letter on march 2017 and since then I have called Ford dealership several times and was told that parts not available yet and they would notify us by mail once they have the parts. This is way overdue and I am not feeling safe driving a car which has a problem with the airbags. Please redirect my complaint toward them so they get the parts asap and fix the problem. Air bags
Takata recall. Having been checking with helfman Ford in houston and many other local Ford dealers on many occasions to get takata replacement airbags for my 2009 Ford Edge since july 2016 through november 3, 2017 to get replacement because of fear of personal injury or death due to defective airbag as part of the national air bag recall but the houston dealers do not have parts to replace still Air bags
