Reading the numbers

Across the 11 model years of the Nissan Frontier in this data, 2007 ranks 3rd by complaint volume — 2006 draws the most.

Filings have fallen off, 12 in the last three years against 61 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 85,250 miles.

In owners' own words

Just went and started the truck. When you put it in drive and press the gas it does not move readily, it slowly moves even though I am pressing hard on the gas. You can see the rpm going up but the truck barely moving. The truck has no issues in reverse. This happened with no issues no warning just like that it is sad Nissan needs to do something about this. I see too many cases on the web with this now known issue. Power train
Got in my 2007 Frontier to go to work on monday morning ,got about three blocks and pulled out onto the main street and my truck went from third gear back into 1st gear I was only doing the speed limit of 60km an hour, then limped it home to find out my rad was cracked ,I do take very good care of my truck and for this to go all of a sudden. I think Nissan should cover the cost .I only have 110 kms on it !!! Power train · reported at 110 miles
Nissan is aware of leaking radiators and not until a class action lawsuit was filed they did not take responsibility and only help pay with a copay if the vehicle is less then 90,000 miles. Which is ridiculous because it should it be unlimited mileage for that type of repair. Radiator leaked coolant fluid into transmission and corroded and broke seals on transmission caused it to brake and have car shut down Power train · reported at 170,000 miles
