In owners' own words

Strong fuel smell inside car as well as in garage. Drivers side tank does appear to have a leak when filled. Doing a search online it appears this is a common issue with this vehicle and that a recall/repair was created for owners however my 2007 (not the original owner) I suspect has since expired. In my opinion any defects that puts the owner and personal property at risk should be covered regardless of age. Fuel/propulsion system
After having all the fluids changed at my Chevrolet dealer, which included a transmission flush and differential service (which happen to be right by the fuel tanks) a strong fuel smell was evident when parked in garage. Took vehicle back to dealer who determined spider cracking at fuel output elbow on top of fuel pump causing fuel leak when fuel pump on. Replaced fuel pump and crossover feed lines. $1720.00 Fuel/propulsion system · reported at 58,999 miles
