The contact owns a 2007 Acura TL. The contact stated that the hard-plastic dashboard material cracked near and around the location of the air bag. The contact was concerned about a safety hazard should the air bag deploy. The cause of the cracking was not determined. The dashboard has cracked over the passenger side airbag. The crack is over 12 inches long right above the airbag. This crack will affect the airbag and needs to be fixed. There are thousands of Acura TL's with this same issue. I now recently noticed other cracks throughout the dashboard. Honda needs to take care of their customers if they want continuous business! Passenger side dashboard has developed a hairline crack, which extended automatically, while parked - without any physical collision. This area is above the airbags area. After several days, another crack appeared in the same area. Concerned about the airbag premature deployment on passenger side either while parked or failure to deploy in case of an accident.
