Consumer's dad purchased a 2005 Acura TL that have faulty tires and other problems. *Nj within two weeks of purchasing the vehicle, the consumers dad had to return to the dealer, because the door seal needed to replaced and the battery died. The consumer was also left stranded when one of the tires disintegrated. The consumer picked the vehicle up from her dad and while driving, another tire failed. Structure

While parked the contact noticed a large fracture on the dashboard which started near the windshield and went through the air bag compartment, down to the glove compartment. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic. The technician stated that the dashboard would have to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000. The contact owns a 2005 Acura TL. The contact noticed that the dashboard had two cracks in it. One of the cracks were above the air bag and the other was above the steering column. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection and they stated the dashboard needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
