The high mount third stop light works intermittently on my 2006 Infiniti G35 sedan. This is my wife's car and I am concern for the safety of her and others on the road, as this is a safety light that should not fail. After this has been brought to my attention I have noticed that other Infiniti cars on the road have the same problem. This is clearly a safety problem that should not be overlooked. Infiniti G35 with third brake light failure. Third brake is an assembly made of led's and technically do not burn out and last past the life of the vehicle. Dealership refuses to take responsibility as a manufacturer defect. The failure happen 11/11/2010 and third brake light does not work anymore. Third brake light works only intermittently. No rhyme or reason why it's not working all the time as when it does work, all the lights shine at full brightness. No accidents, no electrical faults, it just randomly stopped working 100% of the time. Exterior lighting · reported at 62,000 miles
