The contact owns a 2005 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated that when he opened the front driver side door there was a loud noise reminiscent of a firecracker. The failure recurred numerous times. He received information from Toyota stating that the welds were broken but he did not qualify for the extended warranty. The vehicle was not repaired.
