In owners' own words
I have had the same issue that many people are explaining. I will be driving down the road and out of no where the dash brake light will turn on. When I proceed to stop the car the brake will push down to the floor and it will grind and almost sound like a spring. I pull over, turn the car off and then it goes away. It has happened multiple times and there is no warning as to when it will happen. Service brakes · reported at 162,000 miles
The brakes locked up, experienced vibration on the steering wheel, and brakes began stuttering. This is about the fourth time that this incident occurs. This occurs as you apply the brake slowly at slow speeds, usually around 20-30 mph. Brake warning light in the instrument panel flashes. The only way to reset is by turning off the car and turning it back on. Service brakes · reported at 106,482 miles
