On three occassions, at mileage 7500, 15000, and 22000, the front rotors have warped on my Nissan pathfinder armanda 4wd, causing dangerous steering and driving conditions. The problem has been described as incorrectly sized brake pads which heat up and warp the rotors. Nissan has corrected the problem in each case by grinding and/or replacing the rotors. Nissan - 2004, pathfinder Armada at present 22,000 miles. Problem stated at less than 2,000 miles. Vehicle has been back to dealer 6 times since acquisition for brake problems. Failure of the brake system. Take longer to stop with severe shuddering of the steering column. This could result in a crash with loss of lives. The brakes are defective, they do not stop the vehicle. The master cylinder failed. Dealer stated they do not have the part.*Ak after the vehicle reached the 3000 mile mark the brakes began to squeak and whistle. On several occasions the vehicle brakes continued to have problems after service. The consumer stated that the calipers are binding against the rotors causing the rotors to have hotspots.
