Dt: 2005 Dodge Caravan. The consumer states the side door on the driver side comes open while driving. The vehicle has not been looked at yet. There has not been a determination as to why this is happening. Dodge told the consumer to take the vehicle to the dealership. This only happened once, he has bungee cordes and door cannot happen again. There were no indicator lights that the door was open. Latches/locks/linkages
Power lock failure: suddenly the power locks stopped working. They don't work from the key fob, or the power lock buttons inside the van. Alleged solution is a software update, costing upwards of $90.00 At the dealership. Short term fix consists of disconnecting battery cable. This is a safety issue, annoyance, and clearly a manufacturing defect that should be fixed by the manufacturer free of charge. Latches/locks/linkages · reported at 92,000 miles
