In owners' own words

: The contact stated while merging with traffic on the interstate at 55mph, a spark plug blew upward into the engine which caused the vehicle to stall and operate at a reduced speed. The contact managed to pull the vehicle to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer. The dealer suggested replacing the engine because of the damage sustained by the spark plug, but no repairs were made. Engine and engine cooling · reported at 79,284 miles
2002 Ford Excursion, limited. Engine stalls when coming to stop at traffic signs, signals. Will restart in park but die immediately upon being put back in gear. Has been to authorized Ford service dealership, now 5 times, multiple testing with flight recorders, multiple part replacements, still no appropriate resolve. Currently back at dealership for another probable excuse, without definitive correction. Engine and engine cooling · reported at 3,017 miles
