While driving at low speeds a vibration was noticeable. Vechile had tendency to pull to the left. Stopped and checked tire pressure of both front tires. Pressure of both front tires was 62psi hot. Stopped a walmart service to have balance checked. Right tire had a bulge where the tread was separating from tire. Tire has been maintained at manufacturer recommended pressure. Remaining tread depth was 11/32. Tires
While driving on the highway at 70 mph rear driver side tire blew out and the front driver side tire tread separated. When the second failure occurred driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with another vehicle. Three weeks prior to the accident vehicle was taken into the dealership for a routine warranty service, and dealership never informed the consumer of the tire recall 04t003000. Was doing 70mph when right rear tire blewout. Managed to control and stop vehicle. Sidewall was shredded, but tread had remained intact on tire. Managed to take vehicle to tire retailer , and they replaced all tires. Firestone, steel tex, lt265/75r16, original equipment.*Ak tire pressure one week prior to incident was 65 psi, tire was a firestone steeltex a/t, dot number vnw81x02900. *Slc Tires
