In owners' own words
A pedestrian informed consumer that vehicle was on fire. Vehicle was pushed from under a car port onto the street, and the fire department extinguished the fire. Fire started from within the engine compartment and beneath the dash. The first owner of the vehicle claimed that the vehicle had many electrical problems. The dealer was aware of the problem, but the manufacturer was not. Electrical system · reported at 80,000 miles
The dashboard lights seemed to short out. Now they come on sometimes if it is cold, but go off once the car starts to warm up. We drive with a small flashlight on the ledge of the odometer so we can tell how fast we are driving. The door locks are frozen, on the driver's side the key cannot be inserted all the way into the lock, on the passenger side the key goes in but does not turn. Electrical system
