In owners' own words

Rear brake line had to be replaced due to spongy brakes and excessive fluid leaking out. Problem caused by floor pan stiffening rib chafing the line. Second problem which has not as yet been corrected is that the headlamps are completely discolored, yellowed making it dangerous to drive at night. To replace headlamps is over $400.00. Last problem is that the exterior clear coat is peeling. Service brakes, hydraulic · reported at 69,775 miles
While driving the brake pedal went to the floor. The red brake light on the dshboard came on. Dealer claims two sections of brake lines "rusted" out against frame. I also own a 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis ls and the dealer has stated that this car also has rusted brake lines along the frame.*Ak referenced in rq03-004 Service brakes, hydraulic
While driving vehicle lost all braking power when brake pedal was applied. Owner had vehicle towed to dealership, and was informed that steel brake line had rusted in two places. This caused severe loss of brake fluid. Please describe details. *Ak referenced in rq03-004 Service brakes, hydraulic
