Reading the numbers
Across the 11 model years of the GMC Jimmy in this data, 1995 draws the most complaints of any of them.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 118,182 miles.
In owners' own words
Front right brakes began to squeak, within 5 days took vehicle to franchise brake repair shop (firestone) and then to GMC dealer for brake service/inspection. Result: premature wear of passenger-side brake pads/gouged rotor beyond repair. Driver-side rotor damaged but serviceable. Additionally, firestone's opinion is passenger-side calipers may be damaged, and that both rotors should be replaced. Service brakes, hydraulic
Recall 99v193000/abs: while traveling on the street at 40 mph; brakes were applied to slow vehicle down. Because of vehicle in front, more pressure was needed to be applied on the pedal. This caused brake pedal to go to the floor, and extended stopping distance occurred which resulted in a collision. Vehicle towed to dealer's shop. However, recall notice received after the accident. Whenever the abs are applied, on a wet road, the brakes made a noise, and then grabbed on the left hand side. This caused the vehicle to slide on the wet road. The vehicle was taken several times to an independent mechanic for repairs of the brake bands, but problem was not been resolved. *Ak the problem was still not resolved.
