In owners' own words
I know that the s10 was recalled for the wipers problem and looked it up and called the dealership and they told me that the Silverado's were not recalled. Then I called the 800 number for chevy and they told me that they did not feel that it was important enough to recall. My main concern is that it is the same exact problem as the s10's and it has the same wiper motor. So why will they not fix this problem too. Visibility
Whenever it rains & windshield wipers are suppose to be in use, they would fail to work properly. Sometimes stopping in midwipe. Would come on or off by themselves. This causes poor visibility to the driver. It is an intermittent problem. Also, seat bolts holding the brace through the base, broke. It was not connected. Kept moving freely. Will be taking vehicle to dealer. Visibility
Problems with vehicle's windshield wipers. *Mr the consumer stated the manufacturer would not honor the recall, because the windshield failed before the recall was issued. The consumer replaced the windshield wiper motor, however the replacement motor failed and the manufacturer stated they would only reimburse the consumer for the factory windshield wiper motor. *Scc Visibility
