Consumer was traveling about 40-45mph, brake light & the abs light came on and brakes failed. Emergency brake had to be used to slow down or stop. Dealer said condition could be caused by the hydraulic pump or pump switch going out. Pump has lifetime warranty & pump switch is no longer covered under warranty. 1993 Town And Country mini van anti lock brake system has failed on numerous occasions. *Ts the consumer stated the abs and brake warning light illuminated . In addition, the brake pedal became difficult to depress. The accumulator, pump motor, abs pump, and relay were all replaced, however the problem continued. Marong repaired wiring at dual function pressure switch and replaced switch in order to correct my abs problem; and they charged me $200 deductible.
