On 6-5-24 I had an engine oil leak and reported it to Knoxville Toyota they said this was a minor issue. On 6-10-24 on my way to work the truck started to dump oil, the engine started to fail. I drove it straight to the dealership. I feel this is a safety risk because it was dumping oil on the road and the engine could have blown causing me to lose power and potentially lose control of the truck. Engine
Vehicle hesitates/loses power on take of from a stop started happening about 2 months ago 3/1/2025. Which causes the care to stop at intersections making it a huge risk to the passengers and other cars. Then last week the car had a low oil light. Dropped vehicle off at dealer they found no leaks or issues and added oil to the car and said to drive for another 1k miles and bring it back. Engine
On Wednesday 10/21 at approximately 11:30pm I was traveling on the Clearview Expressway. While changing from the middle last to the left lane at 20mph due to a construction merge with some traffic. When trying to accelerate the truck lost all throttle power and my speed quickly dropped to 12mph before throttle response came back. No noticeable or harsh change of gear for this episode. Engine
