This vehicle is a safety hazard. Whenever you come to a slow roll or a complete stop and you try to accelerate out it will lag anywhere from one to three seconds and by the time youâre getting in front of other cars, it will sometimes cause them to slow down so they donât hit me. Please force Toyota to get a remedy for this as I do not want to be in an accident and die or have anybody hit me and die. Thank you. Engine
The engine V6 turbo wastegate is defective. The problem causes a Reduced Engine Power. Toyota and its dealership are trying to hide the problem from consumer. This vehicle is with Michaels Toyota of Bellevue in Washington. There are numerous YouTube buyer with the same problem. This problem requires the repair shop to lift up the body of the truck from the frame to get to the turbo part of the engine. Engine
This has been an ongoing issue since the vehicle was new. When accelerating from a stop, when I push the gas pedal, there is a hesitation. There is no throttle response that can last up to 2 or 3 seconds which is dangerous. There have been times that I have tried to pull into traffic from a parking lot and the truck will not accelerate then jerks when it finally responds. This happens daily. Engine
