When the idle stop feature is engaged (it is by default), my van will die at stoplights, stop signs, or any extended stop. The van has been to the dealership multiple times, battery has been replaced. Service advisor informed me that this is a frequent and known issue with Odysseys. Iâm just hoping for some help and/or guidance to remedy this potentially dangerous situation. Electrical system
2024 odyssey engine shut off while in drive thru at restaurant. Unshure if auto start stop override was active. Either way the van had to be re started using the start button. Van re started on second or third attempt to re start with start button. This is a repeat occurance since having starter replaced in response to a similar problem about a year ago. Electrical system
Automatic Idle Stop function fails. The car idles down while at a stop and then the entire car will shut off and fail to restart. This occurs frequently at stoplights, stop signs, in traffic or any time the vehicle idles down. The car fails to restart right away resulting in multiple attempts to start the engine and poses a danger to occupants in traffic. Electrical system
